Jan 11, Kathmandu- All the schools across the country will be closed till January 29 with effect from Tuesday. The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology on Monday decided to close schools to curb the corona infection rate.

The decision was taken to implement Sunday's decision of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMCC). The center had recommended stopping the teaching of basic and secondary levels up to class 12 and conducting the ongoing examinations of universities and educational institutions in compliance with the health standards.

The ministry has said that the school will not be closed during this period. The ministry has also decided to combine this leave with the annual leave.
