Jan 17 Kathmandu -More than 1.922 million corona infections have been reported worldwide in the last 24 hours.

The additions include 279,000 in the United States, 278,000 in France, 149,000 in Italy, 86,000 in Australia and 70,000 in the United Kingdom.

Infections have been confirmed in 65,000 in Argentina, 54,000 in Turkey, 47,000 in Mexico, 45,000 in Germany, 37,000 in the Philippines, 36,000 in the Netherlands, 32,000 in Cambodia, 31,000 in Brazil and 29,000 in Russia.

During the same period, 985,000 people have been infected. One hundred and three thousand in Argentina, 89000 in Brazil, 79, 000 in Italy, 68,000 in Turkey, 34 thousand in Cambodia, 31, 000 in the United States, 30, 000 in France and 22,000 in Russia.

Similarly, 3,957 infected people have died in the last day. The death toll was 686 in Russia, 322 in the United States, 248 in Italy, 98 in France, 92 in Brazil and 88 in the United Kingdom.
