Coming To Nepal From Eastern gate Kakarvitta Naka Is Prohibited

Jan 18, Kathmandu- Apart from urgent work, the local administration has banned people from entering third countries including India, and coming to Nepal from there.

A new variant of the coronavirus, Omicron, has begun to spread rapidly in West Bengal cities, prompting the public to stop at Naka. According to Sunil Dahal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Area Police Office, Kakarvitta, the Kakarvitta administration has stopped the movement from Monday.

He said that he has requested the general public not to go shopping and do other activities in the Indian market except for urgent work. He said that even though there was some relief on Monday, since this morning, only the citizens and tourists who have been forced to go to India for sick patients, medicine, and air travel have been released.

The new variant of the Corona, Omicron is more contagious than the previous variant, so precautions have been taken at the checkpoint, police said. This variant has now come to neighboring India via South Africa.
