The power lines of those who did not pay electricity tariff were cut in Lahan

Nepal Electricity Authority Distribution Center Lahan has cut the power lines of 19 customers who have not paid tariff for a long time. Jitendra Kumar Yadav, head of the Electricity Authority Distribution Center, Lahan, informed that they have started cutting the power lines by preparing the data of the customers who have been refusing to pay the electricity tariff for a long time.

Chief Yadav said that the lines of 13 customers have been cut within two days of the line being cut and the power lines of more customers are being cut. According to Chief Yadav, in the first phase, the power lines of the customers who are in arrears of more than Rs 50,000 have been cut off. NEA has stated that 301.637 million 207 arrears are yet to be collected as customers have not paid electricity tariff for a long time.

Chief Yadav said that Rs 191.41 million is due for domestic meters, Rs 99.71 million for commercial meters, Rs 1.58 million for non-commercial meters and Rs 42.638 million for industrial meters.
