May 14, Kathmandu- Android smartphone users can send text messages from Google Assistant without typing in an SMS messaging app like WhatsApp. This feature is very helpful when driving, exercising, or doing any other kind of work. You can also use this feature when connected to your smartphone headphones.
To do this, first, touch and hold the Home button on your Android phone or tablet or say 'OK Google'. 'Now say 'send a message to' with the name of your contact to whom you want to send the message. Then your voice assistant recognizes the voice and asks you from which app to send the message.
There you can choose the default messaging app, WhatsApp, or any app that uses your phone contacts. After you select the app, Google Assistant will ask you for your message.
If you don't speak for a long time, Google Assistant will stop listening. When sending a message, Google Assistant repeats the message and even after saying yes, Google Assistant repeats the message, and the message will be sent.
