Voting Canceled At 22 Polling Stations In Rautahat

May 14, Kathmandu- Voting at 22 polling stations in Rautahat has been canceled in the local-level election held yesterday (Friday).

According to the District Election Office, the polling was canceled due to disputes and clashes between various parties. Voting has been canceled in two polling stations of Fatuwa Bijaypur Municipality Ward No. 7 of the district. Meanwhile, polling at three polling stations in Ward No. 2 and two polling stations in Ward No. 9 of Baudhimai Municipality has been canceled, according to the office.

Similarly, two polling stations at Kharidi Primary School building in Gadhimai Municipality Ward No. 3 Laxmipur and two polling stations in the same municipality have been canceled. It has been stated that it is preparing to re-vote in the canceled places and will announce the new date by arranging the necessary ballot papers and election materials.
