Balen Still In The Lead In 529

May 14, Kathmandu- Independent candidate Balen Shah has maintained the lead in the Kathmandu mayoral race.

While counting 529 votes, Shah got 178 votes. From the very beginning, Balen has maintained his lead. He received 34 percent of the total votes counted so far.

Similarly, he is being followed by the mayoral candidate Sirjana Singh on behalf of the alliance. Sirjana got 120 votes while Keshav of UML, who was in the third position, got 110 votes.

So far, Singh has received 23 percent of the vote and Sthapit 21 percent. Another independent candidate Suman Saimi got 30 votes while RPP candidate Madan Das Shrestha got 23 votes.
