May 18, Kathmandu- Singer Asmita Adhikari will be honored with 'Chhinnalata Geet Puraskar'. She is about to receive the Chhinnalata New Talent Award. She has expressed her happiness through social media that she is about to receive this award which is being received by celebrities of song and music.

'I was shocked to know that I was about to be honored Chhinnalata was about to be honored through the Talent Award, such great respect for the Nepali music world will be a great inspiration for me to go further in this field', she wrote.

The award, which has not been given for the last two years, is being distributed this year. So far, Neer Shah, Amber Gurung, Natikaji, Tara Devi, Kunti Moktan, Pashupati Sharma, and others have received this award.
