May 18, Kathmandu- Renu Dahal, a candidate from the UCPN (Maoist) Central Committee, has been maintaining the lead for the post of Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City of Chitwan.

Until yesterday, Dahal was leading with only a few points, but today she is leading with a lot of votes today. With 30,150 votes counted so far, Dahal has taken the lead with 2,000 votes.

He got 11,090 votes while Vijay Subedi of UML got 9,090 votes. Meanwhile, Jagannath Poudel, a rebel candidate from the Nepali Congress, has gained 4,958 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari of the Nepali Congress, who has become the candidate for the post of deputy mayor from the coalition, has got 13,245 votes. Himala Gurung of RPP, supported by UML, got 7,371 votes.
