May 19, Kathmandu- Actress and director Jharna Thapa is preparing to direct the 'Bhagwat Geeta'.

The US rights of the film have been sold before the shooting started.

The rights to the film have been bought by the team of Amrit Rai, Khem Gurung, and Junga Rai of Namaste America Entertainment at a high price.

The film is based on a love story and is being produced by Sunil Kumar Thapa from Home Productions.

Jharna's daughter Suhana Thapa will play the lead role in the film. Though the actor has been selected for the film, it has been said that it will be made public after some time.

A few days ago, the construction team reached Janakpur and shot the teaser. In the teaser, only Suhana is included. The shooting of this film will start from the last week of Shrawan.

Director Thapa said that the scriptwriting and pre-production work of the film is in full swing at present.

Along with this film, the American rights of the film 'A Mero Hajur 4', which was screened on April 14, has been sold. Jharna Thapa, Sunil Kumar Thapa, and Suhana Thapa arrived in the United States to screen the film.

Directed by Jharna Thapa, 'A Mero Hajur 4' stars Anmol KC, Suhana Thapa, and Salon Basnet in the lead roles.
