Smart Spray Invented Used To Prevent Domestic Violence

May 20, Kathmandu- Domestic violence is a common case around the world. Various methods are being explored to control it. Sometimes, due to lack of evidence, the perpetrators of violence are not punished and the victims do not get justice. But science can help in controlling this too.

You can't view this in the normal way. But as soon as you turn on the UV light, you can see the signs of it. For the first time, it has been used as a punishment for harassment.

A man has been sentenced to life in prison in Britain. He was ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend. But even after that, when the man reached home, the woman sprayed at him.

This type of spray is made by mixing different types of substances in the lab. Rachael Oakley, director of SmartWater, told the international news: I cannot reveal the secret of the source.

"But all I can say is that this spray is made up of ingredients that are not naturally found in the world. It can be made added from the crime scenes. It is not certain that a person can be identified through CCTV, especially if the face is covered", said the lady.

This issue has been under consideration for some time now. It was even discussed on an international news program in 1996. But using it for domestic violence is a new idea. Even the police have said that it was a success.

"We tell the perpetrators that if you go back to the same place and break the condition and commit the crime, your target will be identified forensically and you will be punished", said Lee Berry of West Yorkshire Police.

Police in Britain are currently using technology to prevent domestic violence in various parts of the country. This technology will be used in other parts of the UK as well. So that crime can be reduced.
