Instructions To Local Levels For Implementing Grade Of Health Workers

May 21, Kathmandu- The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has directed all local levels to implement the grade of health care staff who have been adjusted at the local level.

The ministry has written a letter to all the metropolises, sub-metropolises, municipalities, and villages saying that the local grade amount has not been paid even after the local grade implementation and upgrading of the health service workers who have been adjusted at the local level.

Stating that the grades of the health care workers who have been adjusted at the local level have not been paid by some local levels so far, the ministry has said that the grades of the staff have been cut after the grades have been upgraded in the local graded municipalities.

If the provision of giving 2 more grades to the health care workers is not implemented, additional 2 grades will be provided as per the provisions of the Act and such grades will be given till the level where the adjusted level is maintained. The ministry has said in the letter that if it is less than the amount received, it should be made available as per the prevailing law.
