May 23, Kathmandu- Renu, the mayoral candidate of Chitwan's Bharatpur Metropolitan City, is leading with nearly 10,000 more votes.

Till now, 1 lakh 8 thousand 761 votes have been counted. According to the latest tally, Renu Dahal, the CPN (Maoist Center) candidate from the ruling coalition, has garnered 43,674 votes. CPN (UML) candidate Vijay Subedi has got 33,731 votes. Independent candidate Jagannath Poudel has got 13 thousand 353 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari, the Nepali Congress candidate from the alliance, has received 44,961 votes so far. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Himala Gurung has got 26 thousand 718 votes.
