Biden In Japan: US President Prepares To 'Counter' China's Growing Influence

May 23, Kathmandu- US President Joe Biden has arrived in Japan. Biden is visiting Asian countries for the first time since being elected president. Biden, who arrived in South Korea last year, arrived in Japan today. There he will attend an international conference of quad nations.

Biden was welcomed at the airport by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. After that, there was a discussion between the two leaders. In the process, Biden agreed to help Japan increase its military capabilities. Biden has also promised to support Japan as a permanent member of the UN Security Council.

Biden is expected to present plans with quad leaders to counter China's growing influence in Asian countries.
