Class 11 And 12 Education Is Excellent In Nepal, So You Don't Have To Go Abroad

Jun 24, Kathmandu- Educationists and stakeholders have stated that they do not have to go abroad in the name of a good education as excellent education is available in Nepal in classes 11 and 12.

Dr. Mahashram Sharma, Chairman, National Examination Board, on the occasion of +2 Education: Opportunities and Challenges Debate Program and Virtual Education Fair organized by Kathmandu Committee of Higher Education and Schools Association (Hisan) and College Reader Magazine on Thursday said that quality education is possible in Nepal as it is about to change.

He informed that an action plan has been prepared for the construction of the question bank and the training of teachers for board examinations of classes 8, 10, and 12. Hisan Chairman Ramesh Kumar Silwal said that the education of classes 11 and 12 was comparatively quality, accessible, and reliable and urged the parents to teach at home instead of fleeing abroad.

Educationist Dr. Bidyanath Koirala stressed the need to impart life-sustaining and practical education to the students and prepare the teachers for it. PABSON Vice President Krishna Adhikari and N-PABSON Co-Chairman Subash Neupane said the government should appreciate the contribution of private schools for quality education.

President of the Federation of Nepalese Parents, Suprabhat Bhandari, said that students would not need to go abroad if education was imparted by incorporating modern technology in a way that would be comfortable for all financially capable and needy parents.
