Aug 6, Kathmandu- As the public date of the iPhone 14 series approaches, Apple has started production. The company is preparing to produce the iPhone 14 in India and China simultaneously.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, an insider of Apple, at least one model of the new iPhone 14 series will be manufactured in India.

If this is true, it will be the first time that the production of the new generation of iPhone will start simultaneously in another country along with China.

As Kuo mentioned, it normally takes a few months for a new iPhone to start production outside of China.

For example, Foxconn started assembling the iPhone 13 in India in April this year, while production in Brazil started a few weeks later.

In other countries, the purpose of iPhone production is to serve local markets rather than to meet global demand.

According to him, by increasing iPhone production in India and possibly Brazil, Apple will gradually be able to reduce its dependence on China.

At present, the company is testing other countries as an alternative to China for the manufacture of its products.
