Aug 7, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress' fraternal organization Nepal Students' Union (NSU) has opened the lock on Tribhuvan University (TU).
With the postponement of the interview test that the chairman of the TU Service Commission was supposed to conduct on the day of the his tenure, the NSU opened the lock on the commission.
Professor Dr. Lalu Prasad Paudel, whose term of office of the Chairman of the Service Commission has expired, was locked by the NSU, accusing him of recruiting individuals and some political party workers through the Service Commission.
Yogendra Rawal, Secretary of the NSU TU, issued a statement on Sunday and informed that the lock has been opened.
In the current situation that the post of the Chairman of the Service Commission is vacant due to the postponement of the examination, the protest has been withdrawn until the position is filled.
