World Peace Statue Situated In Finland Has Been Removed

Aug 9, Kathmandu- The World Peace Statue situated in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, was removed by local authorities on Monday.

Moscow presented the statue to Helsinki in 1989.

Last spring, at the bottom of the statue, Ukrainian flags were engraved with the wording of world peace.

The statue is owned by the Helsinki Art Museum and will now be kept in storage.
