India Bans Export Of Semolina And Flour

Aug 9, Kathmandu- India is going to ban the export of semolina and flour. The Government of India has decided to ban the export of semolina and flour with effect from the 29th of Shrawan.

Earlier, India had imposed a ban on wheat exports. After the ban, there was a sudden increase in the export of semolina and flour from India. According to the directives issued by the Directorate General of Trade (DGFT) of India, permission is required for the export of semolina and flour.

The Indian government also stopped the export of mangoes a month ago. When the export of wheat was stopped, the export of mangoes increased as a result. After the increase in exports, the government issued a notification and banned the export of mangoes.
