Pakistan Became The First Team To Play The 200th T20 International Match

Sept 26, Kathmandu- Pakistan has become the first team in the world to play 200th match in T20 international cricket.

Pakistan completed the 200-match milestone by playing against England at the National Stadium in Karachi on Sunday night.

Incidentally, Pakistan's first match was also against England. Pakistan played against England in Bristol in 2006 under the captaincy of Inzamam-ul-Haq.

Pakistan also made the 200th match memorable by winning by 3 runs in the 4th T20I against England.

Pakistan has won 122 matches out of 200 T20 Internationals. Similarly, while losing 70 games, five games were winless and three games were tied.

Pakistan won the T20 World Cup in 2009 when they played the T20 game for one and a half decades.

After Pakistan, India played 182 T20 international matches.

Similarly, West Indies played 171, New Zealand 170, Australia and Sri Lanka 165, England 158, South Africa 157, Bangladesh and Ireland played 134, Zimbabwe 112, and Afghanistan 104.
