Sept 29, Kathmandu- A father absconded after killing his son in Barbardiya Municipality on Wednesday night.

About 45-year-old Lauranglal Tharu killed his 20-year-old son Bibek stabbing him in the stomach with a broken beer bottle after consuming alcohol.

Hridesh Kumar Sapkota, Police Inspector of Bardiya District Police Office, said that Gularia died on the way while bringing Bibek, who suffered serious stomach injuries, for treatment. After a simple dispute, the father got into a rage and beat up his son to death.
