Oct 01, Kathmandu- Two people were killed in a truck accident near Hanumandanda in Nilkanth Municipality-10 of Dhading on Saturday afternoon.

Shyam Bahadur Khatri, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, said that truck No. 4 B 8041, which was going to Salyantar from Kapilvastu via Dhadingbensi, overturned on the road and the accident occurred. He said that Saddam Ansari aged 25/26 of Kapilvastu Taulihwa and Indrajit Pasi aged 35 of the same place died in the accident. They were seriously injured in the accident and died during treatment at Dhading District Hospital.

8 people injured in the accident are being treated at Dhading District Hospital. The police said that a truck carrying rods and iron goods to make a stall for the festival to be held in Salyantar from October 14th went out of control and overturned on the road.

After the accident, people who came in other vehicles rescued the injured and sent them to Dhading Hospital.
