Nov 29, Kathmandu- The police have arrested one of the absconding defendants in the extortion and robbery case. He was arrested by the police yesterday (Monday). According to the police, the arrested person is 77-year-old Dhanpati Dhungana of Kankai Municipality-4.

The judgment of Jhapa District Court on Paush 13, 2067 sentenced him to 6 years imprisonment and a fine of 75 thousand rupees in the case of extortion and robbery. He has been absconding since then and was arrested yesterday by the police stationed at District Police Office Jhapa.

He was brought to Jhapa District Court Chandragadhi for the execution of was sent to the prison office Bhadrapur Chandragadhi for payment of imprisonment by the order of the court.
