Four Arrested From Janakpur With Drugs

Jan 27, Kathmandu: Dhanusha police arrested four people in possession of a large number of drugs.

The names of those detained have not yet been released. The drugs were discovered by a joint police team from the District Police Office Dhanusha and the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office Janakpur at 14 Pidari Chowk, Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City.

Exiplon 493 bottles were discovered in 10 cartons inside a jute sack when the autorickshaw was searched. According to Dhanusha police, the autorickshaw driver and three others involved in the business were arrested, along with two motorcycles.

The drug was brought into Janakpurdham from the Indian market, according to reports. The police are now conducting additional investigations.
