Jan 28, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that if the presidential election is not held by March 12, the country will face disaster.

Inaugurating the first session of the state in Biratnagar today, Koirala said that the presidential election should not be postponed under any pretext. He said, "If, but, nothing is acceptable to postpone the election of the President. If the presidential election is not held by February 12, the country will be in trouble".

Koirala said that the presidential election is the priority of Congress and also stated that the party will field candidates.
