Sandeep's Return To Field Was Cleared With The Suspension Lifted

Feb 1, Kathmandu: Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane who was released on bail from prison on charges of rape has opened the way to return to the field for the game.

On Tuesday, the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) lifted the suspension of former captain Sandeep Lamichhane, and the way for the match was opened. Can's board meeting held until Tuesday has decided to lift the suspension of former captain Lamichhane.

Sandeep, who was arrested on charges of raping a girl, was released on bail only a few days ago with the condition of appearing before the High Court. After the decision of the High Court Can be decided to lift the suspension.

With that decision, Lamichhane has opened the way to return to the cricket field. Last September 8,  CAN suspend Lamichhane after he was accused of raping a girl.
