Congress Will Discuss About The Election Of The Vice President With Other Parties

Feb 02, Kathmandu- The meeting of the working committee of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party has decided to proceed with discussions with other political parties for the election of the vice president of the National Assembly.

This decision was taken at a meeting held at Dhumbarahi, the residence of party chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, on Thursday. Talking to the media persons after the meeting, Congress chief whip Ramesh Akhtar said that the meeting of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party has been decided to be held at 1 o'clock on February 9 in the Lotse hall of the parliament building. He said that due to the busyness of the Parliament, the meeting of the Central Executive Committee has been postponed for some time.

He said that Congress is in discussions with other political parties about the election of the vice president of the National Assembly and the election of the president. He said, "There is a program to register nominations for the position of Vice President of the National Assembly on the 5th and the election will be held on the 6th". We have decided to move forward after discussing with other political parties about the election of the Vice President of the National Assembly.

We have decided to hold the next meeting of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party at 1 o'clock on January 26 in the Lotse Hall of Parliament House. Due to the busyness of the Parliament, the meeting of the Central Executive Committee has been postponed for some time. We are also in discussions with other political parties about the National Assembly elections and the presidential elections.
