Four Children Died When A Charging Mobile Suddenly Exploded

Mar 24, Kathmandu- Four children died when a mobile phone exploded while it was charging.

The incident took place on Saturday night in Modipuram, Meerut, India. According to the Indian media, the children were playing games on the mobile phones connected to the charge.

At the same time, a fire broke out when a mobile phone suddenly fell. Four children and their parents were also burnt as the fire spread to the bed and the window curtain.

According to Indian media citing police sources, five-year-old Kallu, 6-year-old Golu, 8-year-old Niharika and 12-year-old Sarika died. Niharika and Golu died at two o'clock in the night as they were taken to the hospital for treatment. Similarly, Sarika died at 4 am on Sunday and Kallu died at 10 am.

Their father Johnny and mother Babita are undergoing treatment. Although Johnny's condition is out of danger, it is said that Babita's condition is critical and she is being treated on a ventilator.

Johnny said that Niharika, Golu and Kallu were playing mobile games when the explosion occurred. He says that the sudden explosion happened while he was playing a game on his mobile while charging it.
