Mar 26, Kathmandu- A youth has been arrested from Kohalpur in Banke on the charge of killing his wife.

Banke Police Spokesperson DSP Narayan Dangi informed that 22-year-old Anil BK, a resident of Bardiya Bansghari Municipality, stabbed his wife Sushila Sunar in the back with a knife during a domestic dispute.

Anil used to work in Hume pipe industry in Kohalpur – 14 Parvatipur. Anil, who had been working there for one and a half months, lived there. Anil stabbed his wife Sushila last night during a domestic dispute.

Anil, who threw a knife on impulse, called his uncle and took him to the medical college in an autorickshaw after his wife was seriously injured. Sushila died during treatment.

The police have taken Anil into custody and are proceeding with the investigation.
