Film and politics should not be mixed: UML President Oli

Mar 26, Kathmandu- CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli has said that films and politics should not be mixed.

He gave this reaction after watching the movie 'Mahajatra' at CTC Cinemas in Sundhara on Monday evening. He has said, "Acting in films, politics is not acting." The film is only a fixation. Politics runs and should run in reality, not in fiction". Oli said that as depicted in the film, good and evil can also happen. "But everyone should not be seen in the same way," he said, "It is not easy to replace a corrupt leader."

He spent the entire time watching the film and praised the film and said that he found it entertaining. Oli says that the story of the film will inspire people. Oli also gave a rating to this film. Oli Raghuji Panta, Komal Oli and other leaders went to the hall to watch the film.

Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane also watched the film on Sunday. He said that the film gave him energy as a politician. Harivansh has played the role of a corrupt leader named Punya Prasad in this film which has been released since Friday. The film is directed by Pradeep Bhattarai and produced by Max Dipesh Khatri.
