RPP Warns To Protest If Dangi Is Not Declared As A Martyr

Apr 16, Kathmandu- Rastriya Prajatantra Party Joint Minister Rabindra Pratap Shah has warned that if the government does not declare Thakur Prasad Dangi, who died during the protest, as a martyr, the RPP will launch a strong street protest.

Speaking at an interactive program held at Rafat Sanchar Club on Tuesday, Shah said that if the deceased is not declared a martyr, the government will have to pay a heavy price. The home minister of the government said that the oppression of the peacefully mobilized movement was unforgivable in the history of Nepal, while Shah opined that the oppression of the movement was reprehensible. He informed that the central performance committee meeting of RPP on 16th and 17th of Baisakh will announce further protests.

Claiming that the republic has failed, Shah said that the original agenda of RPP was to establish a monarchy instead of a monarchy.
