Apr 16, Kathmandu- CPN-Unified Socialist has withdrawn its support to Laxman Kishore Chaudhary of Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) for the Chief Ministership of Sudurpaschim Province.

The leader of the Unified Socialist Sudhurpaschim Parliamentary Party, Dilig Sodari, met the provincial chief Nazir Mia on Tuesday and submitted a letter of withdrawal of support. With this, a new trend of appointing Chief Minister has arrived.

Earlier, after the resignation of Kamal Shah of the Congress, the state chief Mia had given 10 days and asked the parties to submit their claims for the Chief Minister. After this, Laxman Kishore Chaudhary of NUP with the support of Congress and Unified Socialist Party and Kailash Chaudhary of the same party with the support of CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist) submitted claims to the Chief Minister.
