Apr 18, Kathmandu- The police have arrested one person on the charge of beheading an Indian youth in Sarlahi and absconding.

According to the District Police Office Sarlahi, 27-year-old Ranjit Kumar of Sitamarhi, Bihar, India is arrested in the case.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Shrestha informed that Baitha was arrested at 11 p.m. on Tuesday when he was wandering around the 'Mahayagya Mela' in Malangwa Municipality-8 Gorakhkali.

Only the head of Abhishek Raj, 23-year-old Golu from Sitamarhi, India, was found under the Hariwan Municipality-4 Lakhandehi Bridge at around 8 am on Shrawan 25 last.

On 27th of Shrawan, part of Raj's body was found in the forest near Kalinjore Bridge, Lalbandi Municipality-17.
