Flood In UAE Kills Nepali Citizen

Apr 18, Kathmandu- One Nepali worker has died in the flood in United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the Nepalese Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Mohan Pun of Bharatpur died in the flood.

According to the embassy, he was caught in a flood near a bridge on the road from Sharjah to Ajman in the UAE. The embassy has informed that he works at the Well Cafe restaurant located in the same location.

Flooding is happening in UAE due to two days of heavy rains. The embassy has informed that the government offices of the UAE are closed due to the flood. Due to the closure of the government office, the embassy has mentioned that it was not possible to get more information about the deceased.

The embassy said that he reached the UAE on a return visit visa.
