Hanuman Jayanti Has Begun In Nepalganj

Apr 21, Kathmandu- On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, a three-day Hanuman Jayanti has started in Hanuman Garhi located in Nepalgunj Municipality-2.

Sudeep Bhattarai, Chairman of Hanuman Garhi Temple Operation and Management Committee, informed that a special team of 12 people from Ayodhya, India, who started with Akhand Ramayana recitation, Ashtayam Sanrkeetan and Nishan Pujan, delivered special tableau, Shri Ram Bhajan, Tandav dance and other stories.

He mentioned that there will be continuous offering prayers to God in front of fire and said that devotees will participate from Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Butwal, Surkhet, Salyan, Bahraich, Seravasti, Gonda and other areas of India. On the last day of Hanuman Jayanti, Bhandara (food) has been arranged for about 15,000 after the Shobha Yatra.

Mahant Giri informed that there is a place for waste management, wrestling and a historical lake named Balda, but after the arrival of Sages, its glory has increased as it is a place where five crore Gayatri mantras were chanted.

Bishwaraj Tiwari, Secretary of Hanuman Garhi Temple Operation and Management Committee, mentioned that the increasing dignity of Hanuman Garhi in the religious field has helped in religious tourism.

He informed that saints would come even from India and said that every year Hanuman Jayanti has been celebrated as a center of faith. Lately, Aarti has been taking place every Monday at Bageshwari temple in Nepalgunj.
