Apr 22, Kathmandu- CPN (Unified Socialist Party) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal is not going to attend the diamond festival organized by CPN UML.

On the occasion of 75 years of the establishment of the party, UML has organized Hirak Mahotsav today. Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, who is also the prime minister, and Sher Bahadur Deuba, chairman of the Nepali Congress, have been invited as special speakers at the festival, while top leaders of other parties have been invited as guests. As a former Prime Minister, Leader Nepal and Jhalnath Khanal were also invited to the event, but Leader Nepal did not attend.

In a program organized at Sunrise Hall in Godavari, UML is honoring former President and former Vice President of UML Bidya Bhandari with 'Ganatantra Gaurav Samman'. A member of the secretariat of President Nepal has said, "The invitation has come for a formality to the President's program at another place today. It is not appropriate to go to a program to honor the person who helped to dissolve the parliament twice in the republic.

According to his private secretariat, Khanal will participate as it is a program of the ruling party.
