NSU Submitte a memorandum to all 753 municipalities across the country

Apr 22, Kathmandu- The Nepal Student Union (NSU) has submitted a memorandum to the local levels across the country putting forward various demands for the improvement of education. President Dujang Sherpa informed that a memorandum has been submitted to all 753 municipalities on the occasion of the 55th foundation day of the NSU.

The Central Committee meeting of NSU Central Committee was held on 22nd Chaitra. Chairman Sherpa said that a memorandum was submitted to the municipality on 6th Baisakh to implement the decisions of the meeting and to solve the common problems of the students studying in the school.

In a press conference held to give information about the submission of the memorandum, President Sherpa submitted a memorandum to 613 municipalities on Baisakh 6th as part of the program of submitting a memorandum containing 17 points to all 753 municipalities by the federal structure of Nepal.

Chairman Sherpa said that out of the remaining 140 municipalities that could not be submitted due to various reasons, 127 municipalities have been submitted by Baisakh 9th and the remaining 13 municipalities have also been sent through email.

Chairman Sherpa said that he is confident that the questions raised in the 17-point suggestion and demand letter will become helpful material and guidance for the local government. He said that it is also expected that the journey to bridge the gap between government and private school education will begin by gaining the trust of the public and students towards public education.
