Conclusion Of Discussion Held At Ministry of Education: To Operate School By Adopting Health Security Standards

April 12, Kathmandu-  Today's meeting between the Ministry of Education and stakeholders to decide whether to reopen the school after the Corona pandemic is over has come to an end. A meeting held on Monday morning decided to open the school.

Preparations have been made to conduct regular classes following the health safety standards prescribed by the government. During the discussion held at the Ministry on Monday, the stakeholders stressed the need to monitor the compliance of health standards and COVID protocols in the schools from time to time at the local level.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology had called the concerned bodies to discuss how to run the school in the current situation. The decision to operate the school in its current state was taken after discussions among stakeholders at the Ministry of Education.

After the Ministry of Health and Population suggested running the educational institution online, the Ministry of Education on Monday morning called the private and residential school organization, Nepal (PABSON) and the National Private and Residential Schools Association, Nepal (N PABSON), and other educational stakeholders for discussion. Pabson and other school umbrella organizations have been saying that the school should not be closed.
