April 14, Kathmandu - Former champions Mumbai Indians have won for the first time in the Indian Premier League T20 cricket (IPL).

Mumbai beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs in a match played in Chennai on Tuesday night. Batting in reply to Mumbai's target of 153, Kolkata lost seven wickets in 20 overs and managed to score only 142 runs.

Earlier, batting first after losing the toss, Mumbai were all out for 152 runs in 20 overs. With the win, Mumbai has added 2 points in 2 games. This is Kolkata's first defeat. Kolkata has also added 2 points in 2 games.
