Gorkha started raising donations to hire teachers from private source

April 14, Kathmandu - Chandika Basic School in Sahidalkhan village municipality Ward No. 7 of Gorkha has started raising donations to hire teachers from private sources after the shortage of teachers.

According to Ward Chairman Sharan Shrestha, a commitment of Rs. 494,540 has been received so far. The ward office has been called for assistance in coordination.

The teachers of the school have also pledged to contribute one month's salary, said by Ward Chairman Shrestha. He has requested those who want to help to deposit in the account number 05800091 CA of Prime Bank.

Ward Chairman Shrestha has donated Rs. 28,500 for the school on his behalf. Similarly, School Management Committee Chairman Dhan Bahadur BK has pledged Rs 10,000 and Principal Ganesh Man Shrestha has pledged Rs 28,200.
