 Jumla Has Been Barred Students From Entering School Due To Unknown Disease

April 14, Kathmandu- A student of a school in Tatopani village of Jumla has been barred from entering the school after he fell ill due to an unknown disease. Twenty-six students of Janajagriti Secondary School in Tamti village of Tatopani Municipality-7 have contracted an unknown disease. The school says that the students suddenly fell ill during the annual examination.

According to Janak Rawat, headmaster of Janajagriti Secondary School, Tamti, there are symptoms of headache, fever, and stomach ache. "Students are suffering from an unknown disease," he said. The students who were absent from the examination on April 5 were found unconscious on April 6. Then the students suddenly fell ill.

Tilak Rawat, chairman of the school management committee, says that reading has been affected after the students started falling ill. Sick students are barred from entering the school. The village itself is in a state of tragedy after the student fell ill.

Ward Chairman Makkar Bahadur Rawat informed that there is a fear of infection in the village if the disease is not identified and diagnosed in time. "The villagers are very scared now. An unknown disease is spreading rapidly," he said.

According to the locals, health problems have started appearing in the villages due to the long drought. Now the work of getting sick has started even in the neighboring villages.

The entire family of the ward chairman of Tatopani-7 has been infected with an unknown disease. Locals terrorized by Corona have become more suspicious of an unknown disease. Stakeholders need to focus on controlling the spread of the disease in the village.
