Gyanendra Shahi's Group Has Been Attacked In Surkhet

 June 12, Kathmandu- A group of Gyanendra Shahi, known as a social worker, was attacked near Karekhola in Birendranagar of Surkhet on Friday night.

Surkhet Police Chief Rajendra Bhatta said that there was a clash between Shahi's group and locals. SP Bhatt said, "This is more of a clash between two groups than an attack." The police team reached the scene and rescued it. "He also said that the condition of those injured in the attack as normal.

A video posted on social media shows Shahi crying and embracing a young man who was injured. The young man, who was seen bleeding from the back of his head, was also given first aid.

Shahi has mentioned on social media that he, Rajesh Mahat, Krishna Pandey, Tilak Basnet, Nitu Khadka, Lok Bahadur Rokay, Shant Sharma, Sita Acharya, Mahesh BC, and Khagendra Bajgain were attacked.
