Aug 25,  Kathmandu- Fourteen lawmakers have signed the identity card of the Election Commission for the registration of the Loktantra  Samajwadi Party (LSP) Nepal led by Mahanta Thakur.

Mahanta Thakur's party had applied to the commission for registration of LOSPA on August 19 after the government brought an ordinance to split the political parties into 20 percent members in the Central Committee of the parliamentary parties. The Election Commission has called for identification on Wednesday.

It has been decided that the Democratic Socialist Party, Nepal will be registered as soon as 14 MPs identify themselves.
