August 31, Kathmandu - Actor Dayahang Rai has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the Nepal-European Film Festival.

Rai said that he was happy to be associated with the festival. He expressed the belief that the festival, which will be held virtually even at a time when meaningful activities of the film have come to a standstill due to the epidemic, will transmit energy to the filmmakers. This is the tenth edition of the Nepal European Film Festival. The festival will run virtually from September 17 to 25.

The festival will also feature the announcement of the winners of the short film competition on gender equality organized by the delegation and important interactions and seminars related to the film.
