Debate On National Consensus Ensuring Stability Begins

Sep 2, Kathmandu-UML central member and MP Jhapat Rawal said that a debate has started between the Congress and the UML on the issue of ensuring stability by forming an alliance between the state and federal governments to prevent criminalization in politics.

He said, "Let the UML and the Congress, the leaders of the democratic movement, stand together and review the situation." He said that he had discussed the matter with the party leaders and was also discussing with the leaders of the Congress and UML. Saying that instability has come in all the states due to the split of the UML and the mafias have started a game of buying and selling to become ministers, he said that such forces would be removed if there was cooperation between the UML and the Congress.

"We will contest the elections alone, but we will review to ensure stability in the states and the union," Rawal said. Otherwise, bargaining to become a minister, party splitting and mafia criminals would seize state power. Let's at least end the instability in all the states and the union. '
