September 13, Kathmandu - Bikram Sob and Sandeep Lamichhane have taken one wicket each for Nepal.

Bikram caught Steven Taylor for 14 off Kushal Bhurtel. Sandeep caught Sushant Modani for 16 in the lbw trap. The USA lost 2 wickets at the end of 13 overs and added 61 runs. In the series, Nepal will play two games each against Oman and the USA. Nepal had defeated the USA in the last two matches of the series. In the series held in Nepal in February 2020, Nepal defeated the United States by 35 runs and 8 wickets.

Before the series, Nepal had played a two-match ODI series against Papua New Guinea. Nepal had won both the matches. Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Oman, USA, Scotland, Namibia, and United Arab Emirates (UAE) are in the World Cup League-2.
