September 29, Kathmandu - In Lumbini province, the Maoist center has been intensely dissatisfied with the appointment made by Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC.

In his political appointment leaders and cadres have expressed dissatisfaction. According to leaders, KC who is experienced in politics and who has also established a powerful ministry in UML-led government for three years has made a decision without involving party decision.

After Sujit BK was appointed as his personal secretary against the consensus of many party leaders controversy has erupted. BK had shot dead Prachanda Thayab, a youth leader in Butwal in 2065 BS. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was appointed as his personal secretary as soon as he came out a few months ago. After Vic's appointment, the Thai family said they were in trouble again. Sujit BK's wife Deepa BK is also a proportional MP from the UCPN (M) in the state assembly. He has been criticized by the party for giving important responsibilities to BK.

It is said that Chief Minister KC did not spare anyone even though he was pressured to manage in other states as the party would lose money by appointing a person with such a big issue in Butwal. A Maoist leader complained that Chief Minister KC had failed to reconcile geography in political appointments.
