How Was 'Nagmani' Seen In Pashupati

Dec 4, Kathmandu- Artefacts of archeological importance including Bhagavan Kavach, Mukut, Nagmani, Ekmukhe Rudraksha, and Shankha kept in Pashupatinath's treasury have been shown to the public. These items kept in the store are shown to the interested public every year on the day of 'Margashirsha Krishna Aunsi'.

From time immemorial, it has been a tradition to show these materials on the day after Bala Chaturdashi, i.e. on the day of Aunsi. Ghanshyam Khatiwada has given the information.

On the occasion of Bala Chaturdashi, people come from far to sow centipedes. Devotees throng the Pashupati area from 'Triodashi' to 'Aunsi'.

Arrangements were made to view the materials placed in front of the west main entrance of Pashupatinath Temple with the help of security personnel and fund staff. After the darshan, the materials are kept in the store today.
