Dec 8, Kathmandu- China's total import-export trade (foreign trade) increased by 22 percent (annually) in the first 11 months of 2021 to 35.39 trillion yuan (the US $ 5.55 trillion). This is according to the official statistics of the country.
According to the General Administration of Customs under China's Customs, the total foreign trade in 2020 was 32.16 trillion yuan. In the first 11 months of 2021, the figure has gone up from the previous year.
Compared to the epidemic period of 2019, trade has increased by 24 percent this year.
Both exports and imports continued to grow at double digits in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year which has increased by 21.8 percent and 22.2 percent respectively compared to the previous year.
