Dec 10, Kathmandu- The 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress is being inaugurated shortly. Congress leaders and cadres are continuing to reach Bhrikuti Mandap to participate in the inaugural session.

Even before the inaugural session of the General Convention, Sher Bahadur Deuba's party and Ram Chandra Poudel's party have not been able to decide on a unanimous candidate. According to the Congress constitution, elections will be held for one president, two vice presidents, two general secretaries, and eight joint general secretaries.
